I got this mascara for free in an issue of Glamour a few months back.
I did a bit of research, and I found out that this brand is part of ‘The Organic Pharmacy’ created by ex-pharmacist Margo Marrone, who founded this company in order to provide her customers with toxin-free products.
Being honest with you, I don’t often buy organic make-up. I’ve always had a bad perception of organic products, thinking that they were not as good as “classic” beauty products.
Well, my perception might have been true for the first organic products that where launched, but this Organic Glam Mascara has really surprised me, and changed my mind.
The brush is good – it seperates and defines your lashes. It doesn’t add volume, but this is not something that I expected of this mascara, as the manufacturer doesn’t claim any volumising effect for the product. The point of this mascara is simply to curl and lengthen your eye-lashes.
I love the deep black colour of this mascara, and its texture. It’s not too liquid; neither is it too creamy.
If you’re looking for a natural-looking mascara, I recommend it (even if there is non-organic dupes that can be found for cheaper).
