A long time ago, I was having a chat with one of my favorite cousins while she was putting on her make-up. She is 10 years older than me, and she told me that she was always uses solar cream under her make-up to avoid early skin ageing.
Years later, when I started to put on make-up, I remembered what she had said, and tried to follow her rule too. Back then, very few make-up products had an SPF.
I’m still following it now, and this Avène solar face-cream is the best I’ve tried; it has been part of my routine for years now.
I guess I won’t need to introduce you this well-known French brand which uses a high-quality thermal water.
As with many of their products, this cream is paraben- and alcohol-free.
The cream takes some time to dry, but I can forgive it for that.
