Looking at my recycling basket getting fuller and fuller, I thought it was the perfect moment to have a look at it and decide what I should buy again… or not. So let’s dive in into my finished products and see what I will repurchase and what will go to the bin and never come back to my bathroom
- Diadermine – Purifying Strips
Diadermine is a beautiful and affordable drugstore brand, created in France in 1904. It is a bit of a household name in France and I asked my brother to bring me some of their Strips Purifiants last time he visited. These strips are the best ones on the market (to my taste and knowledge of course) and I have already a few boxes in advance. I got them due to the bad experience I had with the other ones listed below
- T-ZONE – Charcoal and Bamboo Nose Pore Strips
These strips are amazing: they strips the skin out of your nose but don’t remove any impurities. They leave a horrible black glue on your nose afterward and is a nightmare to get it off. I am not happy at all with those and will not purchase them again.
- Caudalie – Ressource-Hydra SOS Intense Moisturizing Cream
What a find. This was my third pot and I love it so much. It is the perfect cream for combination skin, allowing a good hydratation without leave a greasy feeling on the skin. I have already started my fouth pot as I write these lines.
- The Ordinary – Niacinamide 10% and Zinc 1%
What a great serum! I use it to tackle the redness and to reduce the sebum production on my T-zone. Great results for a small price, I will purchase it again very soon.
- The Ordinary – Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution
This is my go to toner for the night. I have been using it for several years now and I am really happy with it as it has improved my skin texture beyond expectation. I will not purchase it again.
- Boots – Vitamin C Brightening Eye Gel
The texture is a little bit too sticky to my taste and did not have any impact on my dark circle. I will not purchase it again.
- Nivea – MicellAIR Skin Breathe Micellar Water
It does remove the make up really well and I do not like the dry feeling on my skin once I use it. I will not purchase it again.
- Nivea – Peal & Beauty Anti-perspirant
I did not like the white powdery texture it gives to my underarm but it was an efficient anti-perspirant. I will not purchase it agazin.
- Dove – Go Fresh Anti-perspirant
I loved it! It smells really nice and does a great job. Love it!
- Sanctuary Spa – Shower Burst
Very comforting texture. I will probably buy it again next autumn, when the shower will need to be a cocooning moment after a long cold day.
- Satin Care – Avocado Twist Shave Gel
This gel turns into a decadent rich shaving cream. I never been so easy to shave. The bottle lasted me several month as only a small amount is necessary. A great purchase to be renewed.
- Cerave – Sa smoothing Cream
I love it. I know it, you know it. I have an article here explaining why this cream became a bathroom favorite.
- Gillette Venus – Deluxe Smooth Swirl
I am amazed with these razors heads. The five blades leave your legs so smooth and for a long time. A classic to be bought again.
- Sanctuary Spa – Whipped Soufflé Body Cream and Wet Skin Moisturiser
I can’t leave without those two! The Wet Skin Moisturiser is a great option for busy days and also when the weather is a bit warmer. My love to the Whipped Soufflé Body Cream is detailed here.
- The Sleep Botanist – Body Wash
This shower gel from Tesco has given me the worst skin rash. I am unable to use it again.
- Tesori d’Oriente – Shower Oil
A such comforting showe oil that I have purchase to calm my skin after the skin rash caused by the Sleep Botanist Body Wash. It’s rich texture is a amazing and leaves your skin smelling amazing for hours
- L’Oréal Paris – Elvive Extraordinary Clay Rebalancing Shampoo
This is my go too shampoo for the last few years when I notice that my hair is getting more oily. I usually use it over the course of two weeks and my hair is back to their normal texture. To be bought again!
