Thought of the Month – March 2024

Balancing work, wellness, and hobbies has been a bit of a struggle lately. I’ve been feeling pretty worn out and bummed because I haven’t had much time for the things I enjoy.

Hobbies are important for keeping us happy and sane. Whether it’s painting, hiking, or playing music, they offer a break from stress. But lately, finding time for them has been tough.

Even though I’ve been working hard and trying to stay healthy, I’ve been feeling exhausted all the time. Turns out, my iron levels were low. Realizing this made me realize I needed to take better care of myself. Since then, I’ve been taking supplements and starting to feel more like myself again.

With this new insight, I decided to make some changes. I’ve been making sure to carve out time for my hobbies again. Doing things I love has helped me feel happier and more energized. By taking care of myself, I’ve found it easier to handle life’s challenges.

In short, I’m back to blogging.

February was pretty busy with a few trips, both personal and professional. We had the joy to attend my future sister-in-law’s baby shower in the south of England, and I had a week of business meetings in Paris (with allowed me do some shopping).

I’ve been keeping up with my exercise routine every day without fail. Feeling in better shape and having lost a bit of weight, I’ve been enjoying cooking hearty meals, as mentioned in this previous article.

Wedding planning has been keeping me occupied as well, but it’s been a real joint effort with my future husband. We’ve been making good progress and sticking to our timeline.

This month, I’m looking forward to the birth of my nephew-in-law and our first weekend getaway, which I’ll definitely share about next month.

How about you? What are you looking forward to this month?
